In Sedona
So, what to say. I’m in Sedona in film festival land and it is familiar and new at the same time.
I need to get to bed because my panel presentation is tomorrow at 9am and I want to be as alert and on the ball as possible, and then relax and feel like I did the best job I possibly could and then enjoy myself as much as I can cause I have a feeling I am going back to one hell of a March. Perhaps a forced March. What ever it is next month, I am looking forward to it.
Things are better. Yesterday was a mini breakthrough, and today I am in Sedona. What’s to complain about?
#4-Wacky and dear Wendy decided at the last minute to join me, and I picked up a message at 8:30 0this morning for me to wait for her at the check in desk at United. I waited, since she was going to try to upgrade us to premier and it’s always fun to travel with Wendy, and they had to make me get on the plane because we were taking off. I got on, and just at the last minute there she was-how wonderfully Wendy. And she gave up her seat in Premier to sit with me, bumming the old guy on the aisle seat out I think, but delighting me.
#3-Then we got to the Phoenix airport and I spazzed out at the ATM.
#2-And then the amazing Cynthia picked us up and drove us to Sedona.
And then, since Cynthia is trying to beat a mean cold, she pointed us in the right direction and sent us out. We found the VIP lounge and the food and drink and meet a filmmaker and ended up going to see his film and then went back to the VIP lounge for more food and drink and met the charming movie making local couple, #1 – Gregg and Gitangelique and got hooked up with some local info, the best vortexs to visit and a two for one facial which I think we may try to swing.
I love not being in my world for a minute, and today I am loving being me.
Excuse the dull and factual post, I blame it on the urgency of needing to go to bed, the unusual cadence of my day, and having to type on my laptop keyboard which I hate and am very clumsy at.
More on this mini adventure tomorrow. I certainly am one, hmm, many indecent phrases come to mind, shall I simply say lucky gal?
