Heating Up…

…and I can’t write about any of it. It’s all funnily top secret, and just as well because nothing may come of it…or them.

I decided to go for nature and art over orange colon snapshots. I was location scouting at the de Young today, so instead of me in action, it is a sliver of my observation while I figure out how to shoot stuff. Note the last shot is just nature. What I notice today in these images is the relationship of nature and art, and I have to say this museum does this better than any other fine arts institution I have been at and these pictures don’t’ even begin to point to the conscience effort to make this idea real. I have been shooting this building before it was completed, and the way it grew into the landscape is powerful, and well thought out, and I am sure very expensive.

I just learned that the de Young is the 5th most visited museum in the US. Cool.

That’s it for now. What a challenging and long day and another one that begins on site at 7:15 tomorrow. And I still have shoot prep work to do.

But once again I am in production. Colonoscopy? What colonoscopy? And it rained heavily on and off all day and when you are so focused you just kind of don’t care.

I started talking fast again today, a good sign.

Have to go prep my camera.
