Fuck It I'm 50

Because I think the pictures sum it up.

From bottom to top we meet Dave and Kiyo (and me tiny at the bottom) who I am working with on a tech oriented project with. OMG I felt so cool, they had never been in a three-way iChat, and even though I couldn’t figure out the tech, I’m the one who suggested it, because I’ve done it before (OK because my tech savvy students insisted, but still).

And then, after being in ALL day at the desk and the computer and phone, I am rarely in all day because of my nature and Lefty’s nature, but Laurie took Lefty for the day and I just stayed in. Kind of weird, but probably good for my cold, but that image is coming up.  I had promised a dear friend of mine that I would document her performance troupe tonight at SOMARTS and so I finally got out at around 5:45, thinking I would take some pictures at the performance event, (100, 2 minute performances in a pit dug into concrete at a local arts space). But I was so busy documenting them with my HD video camera I forgot to take stills, and then I got outside and remembered, so instead I took a photo of the dramatic freeway in front of me.

Then I came home and lined up the plethora of home meds that I have inundated my system with and by golly, I think it’s working. And I have to thank Roger too who is doing remote quantum healing on me. I don’t believe, but I accept. I was totally feverish, achy and worried yesterday, and toady I have yucky yellow stuff, a little cough, and a bit of a runny nose, I can live with this.

And then finally I took pictures of my friends performance off of my camera screen since I had failed to take pictures during the event itself, and it’s probably more appropriate anyway, since all I do is sit in front of one the other of my two computers these days.

But it’s OK, 50 is going to end up great.
